Culture Curators have over 45 years of combined business Leadership experience. Known as the, “Powerhouse Team” Jill and Derek bring with them a dynamic skill set with their innovative approach to serving business owners by developing customized systems to increase revenue while decreasing expenditures.

What is unique about Derek and Jill? Derek is an in-demand stylist in his area while currently managing and running his Salon business. Jill, on the other hand, had a successful Salon business for many years that she sold for a high profit. Jill has experienced first hand what it is like to have and run a salon business and more importantly what it looks and feels like to have an exit strategy come to fruition. They are both Certified Maxwell Leadership Coaches, Trainers, and Speakers.

Although Culture Curators was only established in 2020, Derek and Jill go a long way back. In 2011, Derek was a new business owner in the beauty industry looking for guidance and support. Their introduction came in 2012 at a business training event where Jill became Derek’s business coach and their journey of working together began. Jill Coached Derek for several years and his business saw exponential growth year on year!

In 2014 Derek and Jill had the opportunity to train together and really enjoyed working together in a new way. They frequently spoke about developing a business together in the coaching and speaking world. The opportunity presented itself during the global shutdown.
They saw what was happening and wanted to help salon owners and leaders. They decided to form Culture Curators and quickly held their first Mastermind titled Leading Through Crisis.

Since that first Mastermind, Culture Curators has grown and developed an impressive array of products ranging from Goal scorecards, auto-populating P&L’s with benchmarks, systems to help grow your business, and customized plug and play forms for every salon owner and their team. In addition they do 1-1 coaching, group coaching, masterminds, in-salon consulting, DISC personality workshops, Leadership development through games and speaking engagements.

They have acquired worldwide clients, clients that are recognized as the top 200 by the industry, and many of them have been recognized in their communities as the best of the best.
