With over 40 years of experience in the beauty industry, including 30 years as a successful commission salon owner, Kim's journey hasn’t been without its challenges. As a recent breast cancer survivor, as well as a former foster youth and adoptee, she has faced traumas that have profoundly shaped her path as a salon leader and stylist.
She openly shares her experiences and struggles as a stylist and salon owner to highlight the impact trauma can have on one’s life and career.
Kim is certified in Traumatic Research Studies from the Trauma Foundation in Boston, Massachusetts
Kim is an active participant in panels, mentorship and training programs for foster youth
She is committed to helping others understand how their personal stories and traumas may be impacting their careers or holding them back from living the life they truly desire.
